Tim Bromage is a performer and artist; his work uses poetry, storytelling, and magic to explore folk history and contemporary mythology.

Costume, text, and song are combined to create fractured narratives. Placed within this context traditional folk songs and magical effects become a mode of symbolic demonstration. His recent work has been informed by ongoing research into the role of the raconteur as both trickster figure, and oral historian.

Tim has worked with: Spill festival, LADA, tactileBOSCH studios, The Welcome Collection, Artsadmin, Colchester Arts Centre, The National Theatre Studio, Made In Roath, and Performance Space.

He is a recipient of a Creative Wales Award, and was an associate artist at Chapter Arts Centre.
